How do you know if you have a UTI (Urinary Tract Infection)?

- Your urine will feel like its burning you on the way out

- You may have a slight aching feeling on your pelvis or lower back

- You will have a sense of urgency, wanting to go to the loo every few minutes, and when you get there only small amounts of urine come out.

What causes a UTI?

BACTERIA and BAD DIET (not eating enough vegetables and not drinking enough water)

How to avoid getting a bladder infection:

- Don't use feminine hygiene products (For example feminine wipes etc) Just use a mild soap in the shower and don't overdo it. Exposing your vagina to harsh soaps only encourages the growth of bacteria.

- Don't over douche

- Don't eat allot of Sugar and red meat (Excessive amounts of these can cause UTI)

How to cure your UTI:

- Drink cranberry juice or cranberry supplements: Cranberry juice has tannins called proanthrocyanidins in it which prevent the bacteria from sticking to your bladder wall. Since they can't implant, they can't reproduce and they're excreted out with your urination.

- Drink at least 10 glasses of water each day

- Asparagus: Collect the fresh shoots of Asparagus. Extract a cup of the juice and drink 25 ml of this juice twice daily for three days. The symptoms of the bladder Infection are usually immediately less and it should clear the infection completely after three days.

- Drink Vit C supplements or eat lots of oranges (at least 6 a day)

- CitroSoda works too
